Terms of Service
Welcome to dirt-clicker.com (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” “our”). What follows are the ground rules for using it — every guide, comparison article, the embedded browser build of Dirt Clicker, and anything else we offer here. Visiting or using any part of the Site means you’ve read this and you’re on board with it.
To be clear about what this place is: dirt-clicker.com is a fan-operated site centered on the idle game Dirt Clicker, offering strategy guides, a playable version of the game sourced from a publicly available location online, and pointers toward other clicker/idle titles you might enjoy. “You” and “your,” wherever they show up in this document, mean whoever’s browsing or using the Site. Not comfortable with something here? The simplest fix is to stop using the Site.
One more thing worth flagging up front — depending on where you’re located, disagreements with us might get resolved through arbitration instead of a lawsuit. That’s covered further down, under “Resolving Disagreements.”
We Can Update These Terms
These Terms aren’t set in stone — we can change them whenever it makes sense to. Whatever’s posted here, along with the date it went live, is what’s currently in effect. Updates apply from that point forward and don’t reach back to cover disputes that started earlier.
If you keep using the Site after we’ve posted a change, that’s taken as your agreement to it. We also reserve the right to add, tweak, or pull any part of the Site’s content or features, at any time, whether or not we give a heads-up beforehand.
How This Connects to Privacy
Our Privacy Policy covers what we do with information tied to your visits, and using the Site means accepting that too. Anything you tell us needs to be accurate and current. Where that policy and this document disagree specifically on personal data handling, the Privacy Policy wins.
Who This Site Is For
We built this for a general audience in the United States, and it isn’t designed with kids in mind. We don’t knowingly gather personal details from anyone under 13. If you’re under the age where your local laws consider you an adult, please only use the Site with a parent or guardian nearby.
Your Responsibility to Follow Local Law
Keeping your use of the Site within the bounds of laws that apply to you is on you, not us. That said, we can still restrict or block access to particular content or features whenever it seems warranted, or whenever the law makes us.
Things We Ask You Not to Do
By using the Site, you’re agreeing to steer clear of the following:
- Posting anything unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise damaging to others.
- Using the Site as a channel for unapproved advertising or promotions unrelated to what we do here.
- Gathering personal information on other visitors without them agreeing to it.
- Disrupting, overloading, or otherwise messing with the Site’s normal function or security.
- Copying, altering, republishing, or reusing our content without written sign-off from us.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or trying to get around any technical protections we’ve put in place.
- Framing, mirroring, or embedding our content on a different platform without our okay.
- Reposting large sections of our guides or other original material anywhere else.
- Running bots, scrapers, or crawlers against the Site to pull data automatically.
Keeping an Eye on Content
We’re under no obligation to review everything that gets posted to or connected with the Site, but we can review, edit, restrict, or take down anything at our discretion, whatever the reason. Our Privacy Policy has more detail on the data side of that process.
Links and Content From Elsewhere
You’ll come across links, ads, and embedded material from third parties on the Site — this includes the featured game itself and any other titles we point you toward with similar gameplay. Those parties run their own operations independently of us. We don’t vouch for, control, or take responsibility for what they publish, how reliable they are, or how secure they might be. Whatever happens when you leave our Site for one of theirs is between you and them.
No Promises, No Guarantees
Everything here — the guides, the embedded game, third-party material included — is offered “as is” and “as available.” We’re not making any warranties, stated or implied, about any of it. We try to keep things running well, but we can’t promise the Site will always be up, bug-free, or perfectly accurate. Spot something off? Let us know via our Contact page.
A Note to Parents
If you’re a parent or guardian and you’d like tighter control over what a younger user can access, parental-control software is a good option — it can help filter out content you’d rather they not see.
Copyright Issues
Believe something on the Site infringes on work you own? File a notice per our DMCA Policy. Once we’ve verified a claim, we’ll take the appropriate next step, which could mean pulling the content down.
Resolving Disagreements
Where the law allows for it, disputes about the Site that we can’t sort out through direct conversation get resolved via binding arbitration rather than in court — the one exception being places where local rules permit an individual claim to go through small-claims court instead. Before anything formal gets filed, both sides agree to first try working it out by contacting us through our Contact page.
A Few Final Points
None of this creates a partnership, an employment relationship, an agency arrangement, or a joint venture between you and us. If any single piece of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the document stands.
You can’t pass along or transfer your rights under this Agreement without getting our written go-ahead first — we, on the other hand, can transfer ours, say in the event of a sale or restructuring. This document is the full understanding between you and the Site regarding its use, and it replaces any earlier agreement on the same subject. We won’t be held responsible for delays or failures caused by things genuinely outside our control.
Questions about any of this? Our Contact page is the way to reach us.
